Day 13 – Ping Pong
I will emphasize one more time that Mondays in India are not
as awesome as usual… Time for some of my
personal philosophy: I like Mondays in
general as I believe that Mondays are the most un-liked days in the week, so
that translates into Mondays having much love.
Think about it, everyone loves Fridays, Saturdays are awesome. So I decided to like a Monday because I think
there is potential.
End of Shawn Philosophy 101.
So the day at work, workwise was good. I think we got quite a lot done and it felt
good because we know that Wednesday will be a day to rest.
When we got home we all had a lot of extra energy due to the
extra sleep we had Yesterday so we decided that it was time to invent a new
sport. So the other day we got the
tabletennis equipment but due to heavy wind in monsoon season (who would have
guessed right) playing outside was close to impossible. So we created a table tennis game for the
indoors when you don’t have an actual table tennis table inside… It goes something like this:
You put four playing cards on the table in the four
respective corners, then all you have to do is to hit the cards on the opposite
side of the table (well that was the rules when the game started, they
became a lot more intense as the night
progressed). We had a ton of fun.
We also started feeding Gert
today. So Gert is a little spider that
we found in our mini garden on day 2. Gert
is a pretty cool spider; he just builds his web every night and then breaks it
down again in the morning just before we leave for work. Gert seriously thought that it was raining
Mosquitos by the end of the night…
He/She (we aren’t too sure yet) had a feast. I will do some research later and try to
determine what spider He/She is and then also let you guys know.
That was about it for the eventful things of the day. Hein didn’t feel too well, but I think that
was due to the fact that we basically forgot to eat dinner… that or the Mc
Donalds we had for lunch, no one will ever know…
Well that was “Ping Pong Day” and it shall remain that for
the rest of the trip.
-this was thought about on many
levels including novice, beginner and awesome
